- Think of tags as a cross-board collection or collections. For example, if you had a board of
cute cats
and another board ofstellar dogs
, and you wanted a dynamic collection ofawesome animals
, you could tag specific images with anawesome animals
tag, and a dynamic board would be created based on that tag name. - What is zoom?
- Every board and tag has a few levels of zoom, controlled by
—
and+
buttons near the top of the board. You can zoom into a board and see less images on the page but larger or more images per page but smaller. - By default all boards are private to your account. However, if you want to share your inspiration with a unique public link, click on the share button and copy the auto-generated URL. That URL can now be opened by anyone who knows it, but they can't make any changes to your board. Your board stays read-only to the outside world.
- How do hosted images work?
- Ever 'pin' an image or save a URL only to find that the image is taken offline and now you can't access it ever again? If you have one of our Pro or Premium plans, all images you load to Moodboarder are automatically downloaded to our servers and accessible to you at all times. Images will only disappear from our servers if you delete them from a board, downgrade to the free plan (we will try to salvage your images by reverting to their remote links if they exist), or we get a legitimate legal claim that forces us to delete the image. Speaking of hosted images, once you are a Pro & Premium member, you can upload images from your computer and store them in your boards.
- What are notes?
- Any image added to a board or assigned to a tag supports the ability to add user notes. Leave any info you want to remember about a particular image.
- What is gallery view?
- Any image can be tapped to open it in full-screen mode. Arrow left or right and the previous/next image from your board or tag will appear in place of the current image. You can even scroll or pinch into an image to zoom. At a certain point the image will pixelate (based on original image dimensions) but you can continue zooming in if you'd like. Click/tap and drag to pan around on the image.
